Membership and Fees

Membership (Adults): is an annual subscription fee; Currently set at £60.

  • First year / season members will receive a discounted fee of £30.
  • Annual subscription forms will be emailed to members before the start of each season & will be available in person at our annual Open Day event.

Membership (Junior): is an annual subscription fee; Currently set at £30.

  • First year / season members will receive a discounted fee of £15.
  • Annual subscription forms will be emailed to members before the start of each season & will be available in person at our annual Open Day event.

Match / Green Fees (League Games): These fees are collected by rink skips.

  • Afternoon Ely League – Home / Away – £3
  • Evening League – Home / Away – £3

In-House Events / Competitions – Fees vary, typically costing between £0-£3.

  • Please refer to event sheets / email reminders for event specifics.

GDPR

Each year / season you will receive a consent form. The form will detail what personal data is retained by the club & how it is used.

If you have questions or wish to deny consent the club secretary will be your point of contact.

Dress Code & Equipment Info

When you first join, your main focus should be on your bowls (woods) and general attire. Additional personal equipment is listed below for reference, but is not necessarily needed (or at least not straight away).

  • Feel free to ask any of the members for advice.
  • Want to test out your equipment, play a friendly game & / or practice? Then arrange a roll-up with a fellow member.
  • Many members would be able & willing to loan you misc. equipment if it is spare at the time; Don’t be afraid to ask!

Personal Kit: Tops

  • Club Shirt or Tee (white)
  • Jacket / Fleece / Gillet (white)
  • Waterproof Jacket (white)

Personal Kit: Bottoms

  • Sports Trousers – Cropped or Full Length (grey / black)
  • Sports Shorts (grey / black)
  • Waterproof Trousers (white)

Personal Kit: Shoes

  • Flat Shoes / Trainers
    • These should only be used for the green, therefore all bowls shoes / trainers should be put on once at the club.
      • This is to help protect the green from outside contaminants.

Personal Kit: Misc

  • Bowling Glove
  • Head Covering – Cap, Hat or Visor
  • Sunglasses (for the rare instances of sunshine)
  • Water Bottle
  • Sunscreen
